Wells Fargo Appraiser and Attorney accidentally forget to hang up when leaving a message for homeowner attorney. The Appraisal was inflated so that WF could bundle it up and sell it to investors on a typical securitization deal. That case settled, but the foreclosure attempt soldiers on with documents that are clearly fake; the homeowner has hired a handwriting analyst that says so.
This is hot off the heels of the $175M penalty for racism in 2012 and $5M for sexism last week, Oct. 2014. And I personally worked on two cases in Seattle where they were in Bad Faith in Mediation, not to mention Wigod v. Wells Fargo Bank N.A. (673 F.3d 547) and Corvello v. Wells Fargo Bank, NA, 728 F.3d 878 (9th Cir. August 8, 2013).
I'm telling Judge Otis Wright about this. He just slammed WF and Citi for racism in California Federal District Court Motion to Dismiss.
