Nailer, I also know where the weaknesses are, but the bounding is valid.

As for the goading, or prompting, or begging, it is the bedrock for having effective two way conversation if both parties present their side of the facts, and go from there.

I know the FICA is what - 6.25%, stopping at $117,000? Medicare is 1.4%? Zero throws out the Sagan stars argument and repeats, repeats, repeats a lie. FICA and Medicare won't change one iota if ACA is repealed, although the 0.9% Medicare surcharge for incomes >$200,000 will be revisited.

A bounding argument is just that - it establishes an upper or lower limit, is readily understood, and the true figures are actually (in this case) a much lower annual and cumulative value.

You do not need Toto pulling the curtain aside to realize Zero is not establishing a position using published facts, facts that are available in minutes using a google search. I'll continue to probe with a pitchfork if he continues to spout without any credible backing information willingly cited.
