No, an attempt at a little gallows humor, perhaps misplaced.
Obviously, the mother was tragically lax in her responsibilities regarding carrying a concealed weapon. There are
so many similar instances of gun owners failing to control access to firearms and allowing them to fall into the hands of toddlers, often with tragic results.
Despite this, the NRA and 2nd Amendment apologists all insist that there is no need for the proper training of gun owners, even those allowed to carry concealed weapons.
