I think pretty much everyone thought that Bush, or
maybe Rubio, would sail into the nomination. And who knows? They still might get it after the Republican base comes out of the ether.
On the one hand, it doesn't surprise me that these three assholes - sorry, they really are assholes - have excited the Republican base. What surprises me is the amount of big money Carson and Fiorina have attracted. (Trump's using his own big money.)
