Trump as candidate indicated that the market was bullshit...the economy was iust a huge bubble blown up by the Fed with extensive Quantitative Easing and painted with dubious statistics such as unemployment numbers.
Trump as president foolishly claimed said economy and made matters worse with his tax relief. The execs instead of investing bought back stocks.
Now Powell has to address an economy extremely riddled with huge debts and deficits with the increase interest tool. The days of massive printing are coming to an end.
Stagflation is on the horizon.
