The poll shows just how despicable the Trumpies are. Our country, sadly, has a long history of treating immigrants badly. Even immigrants from other states sometimes; go re-read Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath.
Hatred of those who are different from us is sad, but widely practiced by the ignorant, especially those who have never really experienced other cultures. Tribalism is a retreat to their comfort zone.
