Let me get this straight. Bush creates an intractable mess at Gitmo for which he and the USA get a big black eye in the international community. Obama wants to resolve it, but the NIMBY crowd (with the overt support of the GOP) succeeds in frightening the Americans about terrorists in their backyards and effectively causes the effort to be scuttled. And it's Obama's fault. Got it.
