He's done his work; at 94 would you be doing him any favors by "healing him"?
He's done great things, not the least of which was trying to hold the different South African tribes together after apartheid fell apart.

He's made mistakes. Back in the day I heard his poisonous ex wife interviewed live on BBC radio. She was asked about the Necklace Killings. Her answer? "A regrettable but necessary form of education" by the ANC, a black group hell bent on killing any black man thought to have possibly worked with the apartheid regime.

Thought to have were the important words. Even a hint by someone with a grudge could result in the accused having a car tire soaked in petrol put round his neck and set on fire.
