The first time I really noticed it was back when I voted Republican and the Terri Schiavo law passed. Seeing those guys lined up for a photo op like they did something good just made me sick. The party of small government turned into the party of giant micromanagement. Congress gets to decide the validity of that womans life status, against the conclusions of trained medical professionals and the womans legal guardian?
They used her as a tool. Plain and simple. Just as they do so many others.
