I agree with you Dondilion, unfortunately, it is industry that won't let it happen. It has nothing to do with 'where' it is manufactured. Industry needs to keep people in the market place consuming. They have whole teams dedicated to how long something should work and it ain't good.

I had a blender that I used close to a daily bases for over 20 years. It lasted over 25 years. I have had three since then. It is very sad. More natural resources for shitty products just to make money.

Germany is the go to quality these days.
