But I can't recall a single Obama ad that was positive. Doesn't mean there isn't one out there. We do get most of them aired here in a 'battleground' state.
It's a particularly nasty campaign imo, both sides. So far though the PAC ads aren't any worse than the actual candidates.

I like that one. The point isn't "soak the rich".
The point is ,"Here, have a good look at the jobs Mitt the Jackal Romney has created.", as images of abandoned and delapidated factories roll across the screen.

That image is now imbedded in my psyche and I am forever damaged. You'll be hearing from my attorneys.

You must admit it is truly hard to get positive about Romney.

I'm positive he's very, very wealthy.
On the plus side, the left's been able to get excited about quite a few boring rich people over the years

So what? How is making himself and few others wealthy a qualification for public office?

Ask your folks in office Dave....
The ads are really bad this time around, both sides. People are idiots.

I finally saw a couple Obama ads last night. They were too negative. He has no choice but to keep going negative given his record in office. That hope and change, unifying mantra of 2008 will be gone and we'll see Chicago politics unclothed. The electorate will see what Obama's personality is really like, rather than, the image that was forged in 2007-2008.
Here's Salon commenting on the Bain attacks:
Quote:
There was some preliminary and tentative evidence a few weeks ago to suggest the Obama campaign’s emphasis on unflattering aspects of Mitt Romney’s private equity past was paying political dividends.
Now comes the reality check: a new USA Today/Gallup poll that finds that voters by an overwhelming margin – 63 to 29 percent – believe Romney’s tenure at Bain Capital equips him to make good decision as president.

So much for that campaign and the wasted millions spent on it.

The people who believe what they are being told are idiots. The people telling it are not, they know what they're doing.

Actually, if you were following his campaign as closely as I in 2008, some of his speeches were pretty brutal WRT employing class warfare tactics. This is the main reason I voted for him.
