I was there. It ain't pretty when every store for miles is a burned out hulk. The good news was they didn't burn our house down with us in it.

Well, it was never supposed to happen. I think his winning the presidency was the right combination of organizational strategy, messaging, and perhaps more than anything, timing. I believe it was largely in response to the failed policies of the Bush administration. A lot of people were fed up with watching a drunken frat boy drive the country into a ditch. So fed up in fact, they would elect someone with a very different style and demeanor even if he was non-white.

No, I'm pretty sure it's becasue they are culturally inferior to all the other races.--or it could very well be in their genes. Why else would there be so many of them in prison?

I think you're really onto something here--I'm beginning to see the err of my view. Maye, just maybe, they actually are naturally, inherently inferior to whites.

You're totally right, bhunter; there's really no problem with race in this country. It's people like me that cause the problems. How could i have been so blind to my own ignorance?

How can we talk about the racial problems here if we can't discuss race and culture? Or can we only discuss it from a blame POV?
