Miles Davis Quintet: SEVEN STEPS TO HEAVEN

The then teenager (17yrs) Tony Williams is the drummer here.

A peach of an album. Some outstanding playing from sax man
George Coleman.

Branford Marsalis has a young drummer now, Justin Faulkner. He's been with him for about 3 years now. I think he was 18 when I saw him at the Palace of Fine Arts during his first tour with Marsalis. He was very good then and even better now.

Got two new books in the house, "Someplace like America" and "The Closing of the American Mind".
