Germans and Japanese work hard and invest in their own country first. They expect everyone, including management to do their part.

We throw our own people (country) under the bus when there is a fatter profit margin to be made from it. Our managers do everything to delegate their own duties away so they can avoid repsonsibility and pin blame for their failures on others. (It's ALWAYS the government, the workers and/or the unions fault, even when there is no union to blame.)

Until this changes we will have no future.

Regards,
Dave

Which has damn all to do with your original assertion that it was "(losing) a war that wiped out a huge chunk of our male population". Instead, it's a response to overpopulation and the strain it places on infrastructure and resources. In turn, that overpopulation was the result of the huge spike in birthrates following WWII.

Try again.

Or don't. Really, your constant twisting and squirming to try to salvage your endless stream of ruptured arguments is pretty tiresome.
