Thumbs down Ohio's Husted asks SCOTUS to intervene.

Simply amazing... after a panel of three appellate judges hands him his head Husted wants to waste more of the Ohio citizen's tax monies so he can make a run at getting the Court to agree with his craptastic assertion that he can limit voting.
These stupid assertions that there is any in person voter fraud whatsoever and this latest bull manure of allowing only one class of voters to vote on the weekend before the election really is the dying gasp of the Republicants effort to rig and steal this election, I hope.

I think the SCOTUS is unlikely to entertain this court jester's attempt at limiting voting in Ohio.

Voting in this country should be one of the easiest things we do. National elections should be held over a three day weekend every two and four years, One day is not enough time and early voting is not an option in every state.

Republican tricks to get voters thrown off the rolls is nothing new. Chief Justice Rehnquist (deceased) vote caged in the 1960's. He seems to have been rewarded handsomely for it.

Even today, after the Pennsylvania voter purge law was struck down, Republican groups are still sending out bogus, false information letters, to voters that you have to have a state issued picture ID card or drivers license to vote. I could go on and on.

At this point we need these folks to observe our election.

http://www.cartercenter.org/peace/de.../observed.html

Despite what you think of President Carter he is an honest man to the point of being too honest in his re-election bid.

Oh, the electronic voting machines with no paper trail have got to go. They would be gone already if Republicans thought they hurt their chances of winning elections.

I don't remember the woman's name in Michigan who managed to 'discover' missing ballots that put Republicans on top after losing to Democrats in major state races. This is the most blatant form of election fraud. Voting records kept on a personal computer; are you kidding me! I know enough about computer programming to know that there is always a back-door. All you need to know is how to use it.

This is not a slam on Republicans as much as it is a warning. At some point the Democrats will wise up and start using the same tactics. Then we will have a real mess. Can you imagine the stink raised in the "Liberal media "if these tactics were used by Democrats.

Please spare me the ACORN and New Black Panther comments.

Because he doesn't fight back. He's an easy target. The same problem all too many Democrats have.

Listen. If Obama was more like, say, FDR, this election would be a cinch. Romney wouldn't stand a wisp of a chance. Romneys lies, twists, turns, spins and etch-a-sketches are so deep Obama would be a fool not to use them against him.

Obama brought wiffleball bat to a gun fight in that last debate. If he doesn't come out swinging this next time, if he doesn't start fighting fire with fire, he's done. It's just the truth.

Regards,
Dave

The stakes are just as high now as they were when FDR gave that speech in 1936.
