Here are the various scenarios that could befall us. The worse case looks pretty bad indeed. The most likely doesn't look great either.

The predictions I had seen were the first of those described in your link. The second one I saw was quite similar to the second scenario in your link but with the storm hitting the coast a little farther south.

Let's hope it makes the predicted turn to the northwest when it's off Hatteras and then just keeps going into the North Atlantic until it runs out of gas.

Propane tank is full, generator is good to go. It seems that Sandy was due to head out to sea then the high pressure area that was over us went offshore and bent Sandy's track. Latest is anywhere from NC to Mass with the middle track being the coast of NJ.

If it hits here on Monday I will be really pissed, that is our 29th Anniversary.

A preposition is a bad word to end a sentence with.

And all that was 29 years ago, I'm a bit heavier and my hair has turned from gray to pink. Afteer spending the night of the blizzard in the hotel lobby we shook hands and agreed to be pen pals. Guess I cane be a persuasive writer as I convinced her from 500 miles away to marry me. There were a few phone calls as well but two hour phone calls tend to be pricey.

Now the Feb east coast blizzard of '83 was the perffect storm as far as we are concerned.
