This is for the undecideds
And you too, Finn. The New Yorker, in it ususal eloquent style has made an overwhelming case for Obama's reelection.
I'm calling you out a little here Finn. You most certainly have the right to choose none of the above, but if you carefully consider the arguments set forth in the above, you might reconsider. You are fully aware of the risks of a Romney presidency. Would you really want to facilitate that in any small way?
Regards,
D-Ray

Wow! Contrast that with Ms Parker's latest columns which in my opinion she has simply moved right to be a shill for Romney and Ryan.
They are correct that Romney and Ryan in the Whitehouse would be a major disaster for America.

Although I prefer Obama, I may still abstain for two reasons. First, my vote doesn't matter in MD in that it is as blue as it gets. Secondly, I'd prefer to remain an objective observer ( ) of the successes and failures of the new President, rather than a homeboy for the guy who got my vote. I will be voting on all other items on my ballot though.
OTOH, I may throw a vote Gary Johnson's way in an effort to show support for the concept of a third party.

+1 here (or maybe contempt for the concept of two parties)

Excellent but, given the readership of the New Yorker, probably little more than preaching to the choir. I hope this gets broad circulation and/or more editorials like it begin appearing in mainstream publications.

A vote for Chaos! Why not, Ragnarok is coming
Some of our other members here would need to arm themselves well for a Libertarian Gov't. Be like the old west only across the entire country.

That article is so dripping with the campaign's rhetoric, one wonders if it was written by Axelrod. They can cite all of Obama's supposed accomplishments, but he's nothing more than a snarky politician that lacks creative vision. People unfortunately are more divided and poorer today largely because of his sophomoric attempt, or lack thereof, to lead. Nope, it's time for a change.

I'm glad to see that you were able to avoid using any language resembling campaign rhetoric and snarkiness.

Excellent article. I agree, it is still a time for continued change......away from the incompetence, misdirection and fealty to plutocracy of the Republican Party.
