So when did Corker switch parties? When did Coburn switch? And the list goes on.

Pete
I added them up. Here are the legislators mentioned in the article.

Rochefeller (D)
Harman (D)

McConnell (R)
Bunning (R)

Of course, Pete, this article doesn't point to ANY previous favoritism shown by ANY legislator.

You hammer the unions for winning benefits in negotiations and do not take to the streets when the Bankers who take taxpayers dollars after collapsing the world economy through straight greed take bonuses?
Sorry Pete, it's just not rational.

Workers bad, Capitalists good.

A guy making twenty bucks an hour on an assembly line is the one who is destroying America. The guy who closes the plant, dumps all of the assembly line people out on the street and onto the unemployment rolls and moves the plant overseas to increase his own personal "piece of the action" is a True American Hero in the finest Reaganite tradition.

When are you going to figure it out, Nooner?

Regards,
Dave

You wanna know who to watch in any Senate investigation of Toyota? Richard Shelby (R. Alabama). He's already on record as wanting US manufacturers to fail. He threatened to filibuster the auto bailout because he said that GM & Chrysler deserved to fail.

There are Toyota, Honda and Mercedes Benz plants in Alabama. Hmmm...

Also, Shelby is the guy who placed a blanket hold on over 70 Obama appointments. He didn't necessarily object to any of them. He was just holding them hostage so that he could get some pork for pet projects, like a multi-billion dollar contract for Airbus in Huntsville, AL. Airbus is a French company.

It's funny that Shelby wasn't even mentioned in that AP story. He's a legislator that you could accuse of working for Toyota.

But, you know, we have this Left Wing Media Machine and they would NEVER.... Oh, wait.....

No, no, John. He's a Republican. He only has what's good for America in mind.
That is why the Almighty has blessed us with Rep. Shelbys wise governance.
Corporate profits going overseas is precisely what we need more of right now.

How dare you question this Great Americans motivations?

Geez, get with it.

You can now ad Honda to the recall list, something about high pressure airbags. It gets better every day.
