Sorrry spas but it was the killing of Glass Stegal that allowed AIG to dream up those phony derivatives and the credit swap paper that put the economy in the toilet. Capitalists are only as honest as they are forced to be, once the Masters of the Universe at AIG saw there was no longer any danger of them going to jail they ran amuck.

I do not understand why this has not been spoken to by either the right or left. This is a real threat to our country and our way of life and all ignore it.
