Typical offender? The only reason he's not a typical offender is because he hasn't had a prior sexual offense. And who says it's his first offense? It's probably the first time he got caught at it. In my experience, sexual offenders are the most intractible of all violent offenders. Pedophiles the worst, then rapists. If it's this guy's first offense, I guarantee you, it won't be his last. Particularly with a slap on the wrist for a consequence.
