I'd say most people are generally OK with their health insurance, both before and after Obamacare (provided they're employed, which the majority is). Nothing major is gonna happen. Some tweaks, including some nods to "free market economics" and presto - Trumpcare. A lot of Sturm und Drang getting there though.

The costs of providing such insurance has been sky rocking in comparison to wages and inflation. Some employers have chosen to eat these increases themselves, others are passing the costs along to employees, but either way a breaking point is inevitable.

I don't disagree, but that doesn't mean that most (full-time employed) people aren't generally happy with their current coverage. Therein lies the rub. Change is essential, but people don't want the government making changes to the current status quo if they're generally happy with their insurance.

Well I've had single payer for four and a half years ever since I went on Medicare but that doesn't stop me from wanting it expanded to cover all citizens.

If Trump does this one thing that he promised to do in his campaign he will have accomplished more for Health Care in this country than all of the Democrats have done in the past 50 years.
