FBI gets punked by Wikipedia

The FBI sent a threatening letter to Wikipedia telling it to remove the bureau's logo from Wikipedia. In response, Wikipedia's General Counsel responds in a manner that seems to shame the bureau. Pretty cool, methinks.

"While we appreciate your desire to revise the statute to reflect your expansive vision of it, the fact is that we must work with the actual language of the statute, not the aspirational version of Section 701 that you forwarded to us."

You know, it's pretty sad when the EffaBeEye can't even deal with Wiki.

In the old days, they would have sent Lon Horiuchi.
