Finally a Common Sense Conservative ...

...I can support, and he's running for Governor of Tennessee.

In case you're left wondering what he stands for, here's his website.

Finally a breath of fresh air (well OK, whiskey soaked air) in the GOP.

Well,,from listening to his video, I couldn't quite figure out what positions he was taking on the issues. That trip to his web page certainly clarified it for me.

Not quite sure what to make of his website other than his PC needs a spell checker.

I think it's a sign that the GOP is taking a firm stand against intellectual elitism. It seems he may get editorial support from $ista $arah.

The opponent must have been a Republican. Many of them are practicing Homo Sapiens. Few, however, manage to perfect the art.

It WAS, however, an oddly pretty place, there had been several copper mines there, & several areas looked like the surface of the moon. The mines had all closed in the early '70s, & most of it had grown back, but there were still a few bare spots. There were NO major national chains/brands there I saw, not even Wal-Mart. It was kinda weird.
Central Missouri got rid of those signs in the 50's. We always were progressives.

Don't know about Southern Missouri.
