For the second time, not defending anyone. I simply challenged YOUR statement suggesting it was hypocritical for right to criticize the left for politicizing the shooting in Vegas, but when the someone dares to criticize someone on the left, that's not appropriate.

Then, I observed that you probably needed to take that position because YOU were one of the ones that tried to make political hay with the shooting in Vegas.

You then launched into a justification of why it was OK to make the shooting in Vegas about gun control and take shots at the NRA. To which I concluded that YOU were justifying the politicization of a tragedy.

See? Not everything is about Trump, no matter how hard you want to try to make it that way (and in this case, trying to make it about Trump is probably also a bit of deflecting). This is about folks who on one hand justify the politicization of a tragedy, while on the other hand criticizing others for doing what you do.

Yeh, right. So, you're OK with Trump blaming Schumer for the NYC murders? That was the very point of my first post about Trump's response that you chose to deflect with a silly diatribe about hypocrisy.

There you go again, politicizing the issue.

What's interesting is that conservatives are willing to accept tens of thousands of gun deaths as the price of maintaining unimpeded access to firearms while freaking out completely and rushing to the barricades at relatively infrequent incidents of Islamic terrorism.

It's not a price the capitalists are paying. Especially those who re making the most dollars. The gun business is making a lot of people money with a relatively small group making a lot of money. The GOP has always been the party of capital, manufacturing and corporations.

With regards to the perceived Islamic threat, as a former Know Nothing you will recall that most became Republicans.
