Bare arms bad, but bare nose and mouth in pandemic great.

In this particular case, the Missouri state legislature is considering a ban on women's apparel that exposes bare arms.

The American Taliban is alive and well in the Show Me State (or is it the Don't Show Me Your Arms State).
How about requiring the women wear head coverings and floor length dresses too? Since we're heading into the realm of ridiculousness why not just mandate they wear the Chadri? I also posit that they bring back powdered wigs for the men. That would at least spare us the bad combovers and cheap toupees'

The wife of an Iowa Republican who ran for Congress in 2020 was arrested Thursday and accused of casting 23 fraudulent votes on behalf of her husband.

In an 11-page indictment, prosecutors allege that Kim Phuong Taylor "visited numerous households within the Vietnamese community in Woodbury County," where she collected absentee ballots for people who were not present at the time. Taylor, who was born in Vietnam, then filled out and cast those ballots herself, the indictment alleges, "causing the casting of votes in the names of residents who had no knowledge of and had not consented to the casting of their ballots."

Taylor is also accused of signing voter registration forms on behalf of residents who were not present. In all, prosecutors allege, she engaged in 26 counts of providing false information and voting, three counts of fraudulent registration, and 23 counts of fraudulent voting. Each charge carries a maximum 5-year prison sentence.

Very odd thing: it's always the party that claims fraud is hurting them that is committing fraud.

Indeed. And the guy who whines the most about election fraud is about to be indicted in Georgia for election fraud, it appears.

The Albuquerque Police Department has arrested Solomon Pena, an unsuccessful Republican candidate for the House District 14 seat in the South Valley, in connection with the shootings at local Democratic politicians’ homes, the police chief announced Monday afternoon.

“Pena, an unsuccessful legislative candidate in the 2022 election, is accused of conspiring with, and paying four other men to shoot at the homes of two county commissioners and two state legislators,” Chief Harold Medina said...

In frequent postings on his Twitter account, Pena, 39, has maintained that he didn’t lose and that the election was rigged.

Narcissists recognize no rules that are binding on them, and no reality but that which they desire.
