Good luck. I am close to needing knee replacement surgery on my right knee, but keep putting it off when symptoms improve a bit. Decades of skiing and basketball took took its toll.

I would think one might consider Atorvastatin if one had a real problem with high cholesterol (which I never did). I took it for years before the troublesome effect showed up.

Talking the surgery over with my GP and it may be more involved than I'd anticipated. I may end up with a nice big scar to go along with the one on my back. Something about moving the muscle attachment if needed...

Fecking A.

Got my fingers, toes and eyes crossed, Barney. They just can't tell the extent of the damage until they slip a scope in there. Soft tissue, y'know.

Pushed off until the fifteenth because my GP is a fecking dipshit. My surgeon's scheduler has been trying to pry the lab results & EKG out of his office since last week to no avail. Now they claim a electrical outage is preventing them from faxing the results until tomorrow. Yeah, too little, way too late.

Dipshits must be contracting with Whell's employers.

>sigh< Time to find a new GP, I guess.
