Governor Whitmer Kidnapping Plot
Back when this hit the news, someone on this forum started a thread about this topic, but I can't find. IIRC, Barbara had started the thread, but I'm not sure.
Anyhow, I stated in that thread that it sounded like an entrapment job from the beginning.
I also commented that Federal agents strung a guy along in Missouri, and then had to shoot and kill him because he was loading up explosives to blow up a nursing home. The only other person that knew of his intentions was in constant contact with the Feds.
It looks like I was right about the Governor Whitman plot.

Oddly enough, he was anti-Trump.

Here's the Missouri incident. This lone wolf, crazy man, had only one person in whom he confided.
That person was an 'informant'.

The FBI provided him with guns, ammo, and a bomb. A bunch of dudes in camo blew him to shreds. The guy was just mentally ill (and not a nice guy).

You allude to info not in the news story. And the news story doesn't say just what you say it says. News says he resisted arrest and engaged in a shootout. You make it sound like the shot him while he was shoving explosives into his trunk.

Indeed...I have the right forum (this time).
So y'all dump the burden of proof back on me, when i'm aware that you don't believe anything you read on the internet. That's a tall order.
I'll see what I can do to fill in the gaps.
Regarding the guy in Missouri; he initially planned on a mass shooting, until he was offered explosives. He was a 'lone wolf', no other people involved. Except the informant was fully aware of the location the explosives were to be transferred. At this storage unit, he was ambushed by the FBI. They knew were the explosives were (or were supposed to be). No one else was charged, no explosives dealers or other parties. Ergo, it was a set up.
He did grab an AR from his vehicle, and was gunned down by the FBI.
Again, I'll look for the original article. The FBI would have gone after the person selling the explosives, and they did not. It sure appeared as though it was them lead him on.

BiglCAt.....did you read the story in the link you provided for the Whitmer kidnapping? That theory is what the defense attorneys are putting forth. This is what defense attorneys do, put forth a theory that would support innocence. That doesn't mean it is true, especially considering that one of the group has already pled guilty and has been sentenced.
I don't know either way if there is guilt or innocence but, will trust the jury will come to a better conclusion that I can.

The article says nothing about if others were charged or not. What is your evidence for saying there were no charges of other parties?
By the way, law enforcement didn't kill him. He killed himself.

There were no explosives, the storage unit was just the place where the FBI chose to serve the warrant / execute the guy. Regarding the final gun shot, that it came from the perp's gun; yeah, right, the only civilian witnesses had ran for cover when 100s of bullets started flying.
The Feds do this stuff all the time. Just seems unethical / ammoral at best.
IMHO, evil rules the world.

Insufficient data to make a personal determination re entrapment at this time, present data self-incriminates subject as radical with terrorist intentions.
