That's crap, the officer was WELL within his rights at the time.
Analysis, later, indicated that nothing untoward occurred.
Charges dropped.
Nothing to see here.

The blonde and I discussed this sort of thing a long time ago. If she's driving around, particularly at night and somebody starts flashing their lights at her, and even appears to have some sort of flashing cop lights, she will only pull over in a well lit area with plenty of people around. If there is nothing like that around she will dial 911 and request verification that its real cops that are attempting to pull her over. If the cops don't like it, they can take a flying fuck through a rolling donut.

And if it's interpreted by the officer at hand that she was resisting arrest? She'll get charged.
I'm fine with that.

And I'm fine with having the police department and the officer personally in civil court for the rest of their lives for false arrest, emotional distress, and if they laid a hand on her, excessive force, assault, and anything else my brother-in-law the lawyer, our free legal services provider can come up with.
I'm assuming you're fine with that as well.

Except you'd have no case, just like here.
Sum?
You're sniveling...

It's not how one reads the law but how one interprets the law and it's intent. Applying judgement within the context of said law is what one would expect from law enforcement. But wait a sec, they are enforcers. Silly me.

Why do you think they were dropped Zeke?
And while you're at it explain to me how a well lit Kohl's parking lot where security cameras are more than likely in place is a better site for an ambush than a dark deserted road side.
