Thank you, I bought it from Corbin in 2005 tho don't ride as much as I did after I retired from the Army 1989 and got a Harley Sportster in trade for one of my Rolex Datejusts.
Owned a succession of Harleys and Hondas after retirement abd rode them a lot before I got this custom project motorbike from Corbin. Also briefly had a BMW K1000 flying brick as well, much better bike than the R60/5 I had in the 1970s. I ride less now it enjoy it just as much when I do. BTW, I did 3 tours on Germany 1967-69, 77-80, 886-89. Left before everything changed overnight later.

I'd like to see pix of your NSUs. I was in Grafenwohr my first tour, there was a large scrap yard where they were scrapping 28 steam locomotives and I saw a couple interesting motorbikes in the scrap pile.

A pic from Christmas. Opening my Tom Petty~MOJO LP. I then had to try to explain it to my granddaughter, Kirra. I ended up taking her upstairs and showing her how it all worked. She was quite fascinated.

Thanks you sir. She is quite the spirited, independent soul. It usually takes a couple days for the "doll" to appear. She is my daughter's only child and freshly out of a divorce last year. Mom is really having a hard time learning the differences between parent and friend at the moment, and the lack of discipline is showing.

That can be tough on a child her age, fortunately our son (well mine from the first marriage and adopted) I overheard speaking to Florence the first time they met shortly after we were married - he was seventeen - and he thanked her for making me happy.

I remember as a teen thinking my stepmother was the bane of my existence. I was quite a bit older than 17 before I was able to thank her for making some tough love decisions that made me all the better for it. I never truly realized how much she loved my father until I saw her car for him as he was dying of ALS 10 years ago.

As of October, my stepmother is the only parent I have left. Father, stepfather, and mother are all passed. Never could bring myself to call her mom, but I do let her know that she is still loved and part of the family.
