It's kind of funny in a way.
People spend their lives in the elusive quest for freedom and equality, which it ultimately achievable only through the process of death. And the clock is ticking for us all.
By and large, people are totally unrealistic about life...and therefore death.
Can't have one without the other, kind of like you can't have your cake and eat it too.
I have to admit, the older I get, the more I can appreciate that I'm just doing my time...much as the poor slob on death row. Any options I have which he doesn't possess are tempered by responsibilities he isn't burdened with.
And once we're gone, there is no difference between us. That exists only in the minds of those who we are lighting the way to the new world for.
