The threat of nuclear retaliation is all Putin has left. The last thing he needs at this point is going up against NATO and the Ukrainians. Putin's "great mistake" has laid bare many weaknesses in the Russian military.

My view is that he should know any use of nukes should put one on his head. Personal Assured Destruction. The threat of introduction of NATO forces in response should be enough of a deterrent, and will probably look less risky to US decision-makers. But I think leaving a man who would try that in charge is the greater risk. When he goes nuclear he has to go, one way or another.

Tucker has been very bold in providing alternate viewpoints in geopolitics. He has consistently illuminate the Kagans' project. Fortunately for him he operates essentially outside the restraints of advertisers.
