Actually, the coastal areas around Mombasa have a fairly high Muslim population resulting from trade with the Mideast over the centuries. Inland, there are a lot of tribal religions as well. However, it is majority Christian. Now whether or not that makes Kenya a Christian nation is a complex question.

There are quite a few Muslims in Kenya. Arab traders have been coming and going along the East African coast for centuries, bringing Islam with them. I think the principle tribe in Kenya are the Kikuyu and that they are Christian as a consequence of British colonization but Kenya is no more a Christian nation than we are.

The view of Kilimanjaro is breathtaking from the Kenyan border, especially at sunrise. And the Vultures are huge!

No, but I saw it from the front porch of my rented bungalow in 1983. Spent a week there. If my scanner was working, I would post the pics.
