Cpac 2023
Looks like Pox News has abandoned CPAC after funding them as in years passed. CPAC's founder Matt Schlapp is undergoing some things after he was accused of sexually assaulting a male Herschel Walker campaign worker. smh....

Bob: Kari, MTG and Bobo are featured speakers along with Trump, Nikki and Gaetz.
But tickets are $295 so I will skip this time. Seems like the Schlapps will be MIA.

They have both Trump and Jair Bolsonaro for all the election-denying freaks there.

As the CPAC rages on, Nikki the imposter got heckled for her candidacy.
We love Trump, we love Trump!” a crowd around her started chanting.
And here is a good one leaving no doubt.
Quote:
“Remember, you’re not at CPAC, you’re at TPAC,” John Fredericks, a pro-Trump talk radio host broadcasting from the sidelines here, said in an interview Wednesday. He said potential 2024 rivals opted to skip the conference rather than risk getting booed or losing the straw poll. “We own this thing, it’s ours,” he said. “No Trump, no CPAC.”
This year’s lineup was heavy with Trump family members and acolytes — such as Lara Trump, Donald Trump Jr., former White House strategist Stephen K. Bannon, losing 2022 Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, Sens. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), and Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) and Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) — to the near-total exclusion of the party’s other voices.

I am hoping that Trump does get nominated especially since nothing will come out of the JD/Special Counsel in time to stop his candidacy.

Matt Schlapp, the prominent Trump ally who leads the influential Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), was accused this week of mismanaging money and staff in a scathing resignation letter from the parent organization’s treasurer.
Bob Beauprez, the treasurer of the American Conservative Union and a board member for eight years, said he had “lost confidence” in the organization’s financial statements and could not solicit donations “in good faith.” He blamed Schlapp for excessive staff departures and suggested that violations of the organization’s bylaws could expose the storied institution to lawsuits or even criminal prosecution.

So, fascist fanboy who groped an aide's Johnson has done even worse things? Say it ain't so.

Indeed. In the words of Ruth Ben-Ghiat, professor of history and Italian studies at NYU and renowned scholar of fascism and authoritarian leaders:
Ours is the age of authoritarian rulers: self-proclaimed saviors of the nation who evade accountability while robbing their people of truth, treasure, and the protections of democracy. They promise law and order, then legitimize lawbreaking by financial, sexual, and other predators. They use propaganda, corruption, and violence to stay in power.
Beyond the above's applicability to Hitler, Mussolini, Putin, and Gaddafi, it also applies in spades to Trump and MAGAWorld. Look at the number of criminal cases Trump is currently involved in and the sheer number of Trump associates who have been indicted/convicted for all manner of crimes. His is unquestionably the most corrupt presidency in history by any measure.
