Oh My!!!

The pres has declared a state of emergency regarding the H1N1 virus. This will supposedly streamline the process of doctors getting what they need (by cutting through a few miles of Government red tape). I'm anxious to see what good use Pelosi and Reed will put this new found crisis to. I got my normal yearly flu shot last week at work, but I wouldn't let them stick me with this new one for nuttin. Hell, I won't even buy a new car model on the first year.

Never had a flu shot. Never bought a new car. Only bought a couple of new firearms. Guess I was bored at the time.

Don't buy nuttin' new if i can find it in good shape used.

Did buy a new house, but that's because I designed and built it myself. And I did buy some new Hornshoppes, but that's because I like dealing with hillbilly's that work out of a shed.

If fate smiles on me, I'm going back for one of Ed's subs.

Chas

We had a pair of Hornshoppes here at my last Twangfest a few weeks ago. They were about 3 feet tall and each one had two Fostex full rangers. I'm not sure if they were folded rear horns, or transmission lines. I never got a close look, but they sounded mighty fine.

Sometimes the extent of a crisis is how close to home it hits. A mother of one of the boys' friends from grade school and Jr. high caught that virus. It took he from a healthy person to a statistic in about ten days. She was two years younger than me. Close enough to scare me.

No, I don't think the Obama administration will use this the same way W used 9/11.

Regards,

D-Ray

I do miss him though. I voted for him twice and would again if he was running against Barry.

If you see yourself as a rebel, or if that's the image of yourself that you want to present, go for it.

Geez, I sound like a mother.

I got a REGULAR flu shot...My wife, who's an RN, came home w/a needle 'n' looked at me w/that "I'm Serious-Don't screw w/me" look, & said "Roll up yr sleeve". I did, & that was that. I don't want to get the H1N1 shot right off the bat, I don't think its been tested enuff. This has all been done on a "Git 'R' Done-Yesterday" basis, & we ARE talking the Gummint here, I want to see a LOT of people get it B4 I do, if THEY don't drop dead, I'll think about it...
