I fell for Reagan's cowboy hat gig. Guilty.

In Old Mexico they call 'em 'pickup truck cowboys'. That's what Pres. Vicente Fox called the Shrub. No horse, all burro.

Just think about it, Ed; Some of our generation are now in their 50's and STILL can't tell the difference between an actor and the real thing!!

I got a call to replace a broken lockset for an 82 year old lady in a gated community in Newport Beach yesterday. She has a signed photo of her and GWBush right inside the door. Wisdom doesn't necessarily come with age...

She probably has Social Security, Medicare and a grandson that was killed in Iraq, too. If I were a cruel man, I'd ask her for the definition of "irony". Think she would know what I was getting at?

Here is an article on the India garment factory collapse. It is written by Pat Buchanan (ooh scary )

See if there is anything concrete that you disagree with, or if your disagreements are limited to faith instead of the law.

Correction, that factory collapse happened in Bangladesh, not that one could tell the difference.

What I disagree with here is the fact that Pat forgot to include himself in with part of the reason wages are stagnant here in the U.S. He did mention the time frame it started but failed to mention that it was Reaganomics and his parties embracing it that have held back wages. The idea that the super rich should get all the money and maybe let a bit of it down to the people that actual build and maintain the country with sweat and hard work, if they feel like it, is a major part of the issue.

It started a decade or more before NAFTA and the likes and is firmly on the back of Reagan and his admin. Just look at what those uber rich were paying in taxes before Reagan......
