Romneys "Loser" wins Car of the Year
Those lefty, Democratic shills over at Motor Trend have just awarded the Car of the Year award to the Tesla Model S. Romney, the guy who lost the election, referred to Tesla as a "loser" since they had received government funding to develop their cars.
Bravo to Elon Musk and the fine folks at Tesla. Best way in the world to give a big FU to Mr. Romney.

Great, his space program is pretty cool too.
It doesn't get much better than a big FU.

Tesla makes some sweet vehicles. Now, if they could just get the price down to something manageable.

Like anything else, new technology is always expensive. And unlike economics, technology does eventually trickle down to the poor folks.

Republicans should love it. The ideal car for the 1%.

Prices for the Tesla S start at about the same price as a 5-Series BMW or an E Class Mercedes.
And you don't get a $7,500 tax credit for those.

You got it Pete.. Ego-trip "Toy" of the year for the 1%.. And like Obamas Nobel or Gores Oscar, we know that the standards have changed for these awards.
The model for all-electric vehicles is flawed by a policy that would shift our energy policy to DOUBLING electricity generation and distribution from the current emphasis on pulling 1watt chargers out of the wall and replacing light bulbs..
No need for that. Doesn't make sense. We COULD make electricity cheap and plentiful rather than rare and expensive, but that's not in the cards. Electric cars are great.. They should just be powered by fuel cells, not batteries.

Some other cars that attained this lofty status:
The 2002 Ford Thunderbird.
The PT Cruiser.
The Chrysler Cirrus.
The 1990 Town Car
The AMC/Renault Alliance!
The Citation??!
The Dodge Aspen.
The Ford Mustang II?
The Vega.
Goodness, it's fun second guessing people
