Now for something completely different
Been working with my new scanner for the last two days. How things have changed, the scanner on the scanner/fax/printer is primitive by comparison.

Scanning all the letters from 1983 it changes them to PDF files and after every page asks "Are there more pages?" so that I don't have to create a folder and insert the pages.

It will also scan color negatives and produce a color positive and enlarge it all in one pass. It also allows a degree of color correction. Even found two negatives (old 110 camera) of our wedding that did not get printed or got lost.

This is fun, just wish the big CAT roller would stop shaking the place, they are re-paving the court.

It is an Epson Perfection V300 Photo and all for under $80.

That looks like a nice scanner. Thanks for the report. My father recently scanned all my childhood and family pictures and gave them to me on a DVD. I'm very happy that I have them.

Well that is what I am doing for our granddaughters, I havee photo albums for them but will back all that up on DVD.

Some day they will sit down and read about Grandma and Grandpa's long distance romance. Also they will see the dark eyed lady who entranced me back in '83.

Pat I told her back then that just like a fine wine she would only get better with age. Quite simply she is my life.

This is so cool of you Rob!

Being someone who knows little to nothing of my grandparents or their lives I'm sure your children, grandchildren and their children will be so please to know who their grandparents were and the lovely way in which they met and courted.
