It's interesting because the NYT was saying it was a very tight race. Suozzi ending up winning by nearly 8 percent.

Either that's what the NYT considers close, or the polling is not reliable.

My theory is there's some percentage of people who have a 'white Christian Republican' identity, and strongly feel they are 'supposed' to vote MAGA, and say they will to pollsters--but nonetheless, in the privacy of the voting booth, choose not to. God bless them!
