A Big Obama Smooch to Big Business
If he had way more of this kind of thing starting January of 2009, instead of screwing up health care, unemployment might be somewhere below 9.6%...where its been stalled for about a year.

Sure, and then they would have moved everything offshore - all accept for Mahogany Row that is.

No doubt about it. He spends the first 2 years of his presidency trashing the oil, insurance, and financial industry. His party gets it handed to them in this month's elections, and now he wants to kiss and make up.
Hypocrite.

It wasn't exactly as if these industries didn't deserve a bit of an ass kicking. You must have a short memory. I seem to recall the financial industry nearly destroying the world's economy and the worst oil spill in industry. Forgive and forget, I suppose.

Obama doesn't care about America. He cares about Obama, and his power, and his multi million dollar vacations while good honest hard working Americans are living in their cars. He's a genuine scumbag, and I think I'd hate him even if he was white (maybe just not as much).

Sounds to me like he is opening opportunities for American business in India - a jobs measure. And that comes through even with the WSJ putting the worst possible spin on it.
An aside on style. When George Bush was president, did the WSJ refer to him regularly as President Bush or Mr. Bush. I notice that the article repeatedly referred to Mr. Obama, but in another article, repeated referred to Sen Mcconnell. Maybe someone who is a more regular reader of that publication can clue me in on its form.
Regards,
D-Ray

You want to provide some facts to go with your opinion.

Not quite. The financial meltdown was spurred on by the government's attempt at social engineering (a home for everyone, underwriting requirements be damned) via the mortgage industry. And Obama was on the oil industry's case long before the oil spill.

Don't know about the WSJ but a lot of media people referred to "Mr. Bush".
