I don't think it will cool down anytime soon. It remains to be seen whether the EU grows some cojones and presents a united front with us against Putin's influence. I kinda doubt it. It'll fester.

Pat, isn't this within the Russia "sphere of influence?"

I mean, if we went into Canada for a similar reason????

We went halfway around the globe to invade Iraq.

I don't know just how a truly neutral and unbiased look at this would be.

I am trying to form an opinion on all this.

I would appreciate your "smarts" on this.

If you have spoken to this elsewhere I have missed it, I don't stop in as often as I should.
