Obama is laughing stock

Ha, apparently Obama, Michelle, AND Oprah weren't enough to get Chicago the Olympics. I can't imagine that he went in person without having a lock on it (a known lock). This guy has done more to sully Americas reputation than anyone since Carter. What an idiot. When is he going to realise he's the President of the United States, and start acting like one.

Are you trying to be funny? Sully America's reputation? More than Bush?

See, this is that business I get tired of. You're glad he failed? You're glad America failed? As much as I disliked Bush and as much as I thought Iraq was a bad idea, I never hoped we failed.

Everyone knows that even Obama was unable to overcome the hatred towards our country created by Shrub and Chaney. Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm.

Then again, if you could go to either Rio or Chicago, which would you chose?

Myself, I'd rather go fishing in Arkansas, even if all I catch is a rock.

You said that, not me. My thinking is that if he fails WITH HIS AGENDA, the country may survive his presidency. I know you guys have a better grip on the English language, so I guess twisting words, and adding on to comments passes for a slick debating strategy for the left.

No slick debating. I just think you're wrong. Getting the Olympics is no "agenda". We don't become Socialists if we get the games. But we would get a bunch of money we could use. So I'm not why you are taking glee in the failure. Some might call it un-American.

Actually, I believe that the Olympics are a money loser for the host. What you get is prestige.

And prestige, IMHO, is highly overrated. I'm a humility fan, myself.

The USA should conduct itself like the old farmer, beat up truck, tobacco juice down the front of his worn out bib overalls, but with everything paid for and money in the bank. Instead of acting like Slick, new McMansion, new Vette, little alligator on his golfing shirt, eats at the Ritz, and is leveraged 90%.

Now Noon, please don't tell me that the old farmers inherited everything, even if there is an element of truth to it. Old farmer and Slick are only metaphors for the fiscally responsible and the flash in the pan.

Whenever those sorry bastards inside of the Beltway start living like they've got some sense is the day I'll be willing to pay more taxes. I kind of feel like the old farmer, and Slick is my bastard son. Who talked my wife into giving him power of attorney.

Make of it what you wish,

Chas
