My wife brought home a new can of coffee and I noticed that the shape of the container had changed. I looked at the label, which proclaimed "NEW FLAVOR LOCK PACK." That made me wonder, and sure enough, the volume has shrunk from 33 oz. to 29.3. It is nearly axiomatic that when corporate America claims that something is new and improved, they mean that they have found a new and improved way to get into your pocket.
