I personally do not believe he is toast because his grip on MAGA voter base is extremely strong and permanent. Sane Republicans will have to actively sabotage Trump's candidacy. And those in Congress are afraid of Trump's shadow come primaries. So who is willing to throw away their seat and take Trump head on, not to mention the physical threats to themselves and their families? But can Trump's campaign be financially starved? Hope so especially with his ever mounting legal bills.

If he gets control of the RNC like he wants financial support of other Republican candidates will dry up. So the choice is theirs. Run and get steamrolled by campaigning Democrats or turn on tRump and get steamrolled by the MAGA horde.
