That's the beauty of it, if he had died from a heart attack after being taxed, the police could have said it was the old mans fault for being old......

This cop needs to be fired, banned from law enforcement for life, and tried, convicted, and sent to the slammer for assault and battery.

Thin skull rule. Just because the victim is particularly vulnerable does not relieve you of full liability for the harm you do.

The maximum punishment their union will probably allow is one years administrative leave with full pay and benefits.
