What don't you like about his other policy positions?

[QUOTE=icenine;131321]http://www.amazon.com/American-Polit.../dp/0679723153

Americans are not really that far divided despite all of the rhetoric and the supposed chasm between the two main parties; the author to whom I have alluded to above basic premise is that the most effective leaders of our nation have governed from the middle with the consent of the majority of the populace, and despite everything most people Democrat or Republican basically share the same principles with a few differences. In other words consensus rules the day."

How about that?

Surely you can't be serious. That's not a policy position.

They aren't the same as my party, let's leave it at that.

Ron Paul is a KGB sleeper agent. He was activated in 2008.

I would have backed Paul for president. Certainly over Romney, but also over Obama.

It's abundantly clear that you guys, save for Bigerik, are unfamiliar with Ron Paul's policy positions.

While he may not be electable, his ideas are good food for thought.

Ron Paul gives me the impression that he is another Ayn Rand believer. IMHO anyone over the age of 13 who believes that crap is not to be trusted with anything sharper than a crayon, never mind the government.
