There are so many that are really good technically. I like what Keith Richards said about himself and Ronnie: Neither I nor Ronnie are all that good of guitar players, but playing together we are. Come to think of it, I need to put Keith on the list for all those great riffs.

PS:
I forgot about Rory Gallagher.
I put Keith on there more for his song writing prowess and image as the quintessential outlaw axman....

That's a real hard one for me. There is to many to think of but to make a long story short, I love good country and the sound of a steel guitar.

The Steel guitar has made it into the rock/pop area. Robert Randolph and the Family Band really rock out with Randoph's playing of the Sacred Steel.
