It would be more entertaining watching Trump if he were not so dangerous.
Yesterday school children in Japan learned what to do in an air raid.
Tomorrow it could be school children in the United States.

Gentlemen, think of what he represents. The man did not get as wealthy as he is worrying about the wellbeing of autoworkers in MI. Hell, the people who once employed those workers only did so until it was more financially advantageous to DUMP THEM and get the work done elsewhere. That's just how it is. It's the nature of such folks. Anyone who voted for this guy, buying the line that he was in it to "...make great deals for the American people." is a fool. The instinct will always be to do what's "..good for the business.." and the bottom line. If people get in the way...... Well, it's not personal, it's just business.
Is Trump Left or Right? IMO, Trump is whatever gets him elected and puts him in the position to influence regulation and reduce taxes on his business.
A lot of people are in for a disappointment.
Or, maybe not.
Because slick talkers like Trump, (Or Reagan.), are also very good at convincing people the screwing is for their own good.
Wasn't it Samuel Clemmons who wrote; "The most successful politician is the one who strips you of everything worth having and leaves you THANKING him for it."?
Right.

WSJ is saying Trump administration is now attempting to stay in the climate accord! Maybe the adults have taken over now that Bannon has been pushed out. Just get that sociopath Steven Miller out, keep Trump away from InfoWars and Breitbart, and who knows? Trump is incapable of making rational decisions by himself, so let's hope his new chief of staff can manage the chaos, and convince him to do what's right.

Maybe it's more like this:
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/09/14/trum...-finished.html
Never before have we seen the leadership of both major political parties so humbled. That power vacuum is currently enabling the president to act without any loyalty to his own party, while working with whomever he pleases on whatever issues he wants.
It's why we have a Republican congressional leadership, headlined by a Senate Majority Leader with an 18 percent approval rating in his own home state, that could not deliver on its party's seven-year-long promises to repeal and replace Obamacare.
And it's why the Democratic Party is getting more and more embarrassed as its highly-experienced-but-failed 2016 presidential nominee continues to weaken the brand by going on a national tour blaming everyone else for her election loss.

And here is a forum favorite, Dana M, confirming what the rest of the world already knows: that the Dems continue to move to the left....

Not that I actually like this but Trump-Sesssions policies do not seem to leave much room. Sessions is a psychopath and Trump a sociopath, a dangerous combination. The entire political system is in disarray, but the GOP is being ripped apart at the seams. Long term, the dysfunction is good for the country since it leaves Trump simply frothing at the mouth and not do any long term damage.
In message of defiance to Trump, lawmakers vote to make California a sanctuary state
Quote:
The California Senate on Saturday passed Senate Bill 54, controversial legislation that would protect undocumented immigrants from possible deportation by prohibiting local law enforcement agencies, including school police and security departments, from cooperating with federal immigration officials. It also forbids law enforcement from inquiring about a person’s immigration status.

End of the day face it, Trump is a joke and an embarrassment worldwide.

I disagree. What Cali is doing is embarrassing themselves.
Also, if a state doesn't have the right to engage in enforcement of immigration law, as Arizona discovered, it stands to reason that a state or municipality doesn't get to electively defy immigration law.

I started my post saying I didn't like it but that the sociopath-psychopath pair does not leave much room for states like CA, where you like it or not, there are are lot of paperless immigrants that live, work and pay taxes.
So the state is saying FU to Trump and Sessions and WTF can they do to this defiance? Trump will come to CA and hold a unity rally?
