After getting the flu a couple of times and really not liking the experience I'll get the shot for that when I get the Covid booster. Throw in the Shingles vaccine to keep a repeat of that at bay too.

My wife just checked, new Covid vaccine unavailable in Reno as of today. Our local Safeway who provides vaccinations said the vaccine will ship on the 19th. Nothing at the Washoe county facility either, they are also awaiting shipment.

Got the senior dose of the flu shot and the latest Covid booster last week at the same time. Just a mildly sore arm for a couple of days.

Meanwhile, you old hippies have something to celebrate. I got a good laugh.

I also got the double strength Flu shot and latest Pfizer Covid booster.
Was speaking to a close friend who has now decided not to get anymore boosters and my gut feel says its political since there is no political reason not to. To each their own.

An overly absolutist conclusion. Even if some elements of corporate hustle are indeed present in vaccine marketing, that does not make vaccine deployment "just" corporate hustle. Beneficial public health benefits seem also to be evident. Things often aren't pure in the world, multiple motives are at play.
