"Lest we forget....."

I'm asking everyone to take time out this weekend to reflect on our fallen Soldiers, Sailors, Airman and Marines.

From the battlefields of Europe to North Africa, from Southeast Asia to the Korean Peninsula and the Deep Seas of the South Pacific to the restless waves of the North Atlantic, Americans lie in eternal rest.

And the sacrifice they made, the sacrifice of their youth and ultimately their lives, they made for Us.

I called one that came back earlier today, and thanked him. My brother John, Vietnam, Army Infantry. His response; "Well, there's one I don't hear very often."

Lotta guys who I worked with & were 5-10 yrs older were in Nam. You'd ask 'em what it was like over there & they'd just get this glassy stare...Learned fairly quickly NOT to ever ask...
