And then there's this:

Administrator Scott Pruitt reportedly pushed last year for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to redesign its official memorabilia in ways emphasizing his name, and in some cases removing the agency's logo.

The dude's a legend in his own mind.

Within minutes of his firing in May, former FBI Director James Comey received a call from John Kelly, then the head of the Department of Homeland Security and now the White House chief of staff.

According to Comey’s account, which is set to appear in his highly anticipated forthcoming memoir, Kelly was “emotional” over the manner in which Comey was let go. The then-FBI director was in California at the time, speaking to FBI agents in Los Angeles, and only found out that he was out of a job when he saw the news break on TV.

Kelly, Comey recalls, said he was “sick” about the situation and “intended to quit” in protest. Kelly “said he didn’t want to work for dishonorable people,” referring specifically to President Donald Trump, who appeared to be upset at the FBI’s persistent investigation into his campaign’s possible collusion with Russian officials.

The fallout from this should be interesting.

A Drexel University law school dean has joined with 14 law professors from around the country seeking sanctions by the D.C. Bar against South Jersey native Kellyanne Conway, a counselor to President Donald Trump.

Conway should be sanctioned for violating government ethics rules and “conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation,” according to the letter, which was signed by Susan L. Brooks, a Drexel professor of law and an associate dean.

A similar ethics complaint will seek disbarment of Conway in New Jersey, added Brooks, who said she was speaking as an individual, not as a representative of Drexel.

Senate confirms a former coal lobbyist as Scott Pruitt’s second-in-command at EPA

https://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...9f0_story.html

Andrew Wheeler worked at the EPA more than two decades ago and later served as an adviser to Sen. James M. Inhofe (R-Okla.), a high-profile critic of climate science who famously brought a snowball to the Senate floor as a prop. For the past nine years, Wheeler has been a lobbyist for a variety of companies, including Appalachian coal mining firm Murray Energy.

A pathetic creep. Trump will eventually find a way to cram him under the bus, and it will serve him right.
